Experienced Residential Construction Senior Project Manager
Who We Are
UMC Builders, LLC is a general contracting firm that provides full construction services from pre-design to project management with almost every trade provided in-house.
We do commercial remodels, home remodels from big to small, new custom home builds, and house flipping. At UMC we enjoy investing in our employees and seeing them learn and grow with us!
Experience
- 3+ years as a Senior Project Manager in Residential Construction
- Basic computer skills required Microsoft Excel and Word (a must), typing, emailing, internet navigation, willingness & ability to learn new computer programs and software
- Understanding of Sage Contractor 100 a plus
Job Description / Requirements
- Proven ability to walk job sites to collect data / photos needed to create estimate / bid
- Confidence working directly with clients : creating estimates, providing client with the estimate, and working with the client to ensure acceptance of estimate
- Ability to travel throughout Phoenix and at times the state to different job sites.
- Lead on-site Foreman
- Proven ability to run a residential project from planning / preconstruction phase through to final completion
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and submittal data. Adhere to state and local building regulations.
- Work productively with subs, foreman, inspectors, homeowners, and other trades in a construction environment.
- Willingness to step outside of Senior Project Manager role and get your hands dirty to complete the job on time.
- Manage all project tasks to ensure completion on schedule and within budget; including documenting hours worked and job progress.
- Complete work orders on time
- Create records of materials used
- Owns standard set of hand and power tools to perform tasks safely
- Own transportation
- Possess valid driver's license
