Summary : Culligan is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager of Product Development to lead the vision and strategy for new product development and lifecycle management within our Consumer Products division, supporting Culligan Retail NA.

This role is critical in driving innovation, from concept through commercialization, and ensuring our products meet market needs and organizational goals.

You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, including research, design, engineering, and ongoing enhancements. This position requires a blend of market analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven decision-making to support our retail channel and drive product success.

Core role and responsibilities :

Product Lifecycle Management :

• Own and manage the complete lifecycle of assigned products, including research, design, engineering, commercialization, and ongoing development.
• Continuously improve product lines by leading enhancements and redesigns based on market feedback and performance metrics.

Strategy and Research :

• Develop and implement product strategies and business requirements for new products and feature improvements.
• Conduct market analysis and engage with customers and prospects to identify new market opportunities, define value propositions, and lead the creation of a product roadmap.

Stakeholder Engagement :

• Lead cross-functional teams and secure strategic buy-in from internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Product, Engineering,
• Manufacturing, and Quality teams throughout the product development process.
• Leverages data and strategy to drive decisions and innovation.

Communication and Collaboration :

• Develop and manage a comprehensive communication plan for the product line throughout its development and lifecycle.
• Facilitate collaboration between Product Marketing, Sales, and Insights teams to build robust business cases supporting product innovation.
• Excels in written and oral communication, demonstrates strong judgment, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.

Portfolio Optimization :

• Drive continuous improvement of the product portfolio through cost reductions, pricing strategies, and margin optimization.
• Enhance product line health, profitability, and top-line revenue.

Qualifications : Requirements :

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or Business degree preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience in Product Management, Engineering
• Management, Program Management, or similar roles.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience with leading the development of a product from inception through transfer to manufacturing.

Preferred :

• Previous experience in the water treatment industry or similar science-based industry
• PMP certification.
• Product Management experience in a retail setting
