Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager in maintaining and caring for a mixture of 1,2-,3-,4- and 5-bedroom apartments, as well as maintaining the physical integrity of the grounds.

Applicant should strive to make our clients happy, completing work orders on a timely manner. On call will be required every other week, handling 24-hour emergencies as needed.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO WORK ON

• Care and upkeep of all rental units, property, and facilities.
• Assisting in maintenance situations.
• Assisting with work orders.
• Upkeep of the grounds (Picking up trash daily)
• Assisting with turnover; walking units, touch up painting, moving furniture, etc.
• Rotate on-call service to residents
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to navigate property which may require climbing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching above the head, and reaching forward.

Occasionally climbing of ladders.

Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds

YOU COULD BE THE RIGHT PERSON IF YOU HAVE :

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
• appliance repaid and carpentry skills
• strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills
• valid driver's license / transportation (to and from work) required
• High School diploma or equivalent

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU ALSO HAVE (optional) :

• HVAC certification (EPA Certification)
• Applicable Pool Operator License (CPO)
