GSKBiopharm Development
As an Associate Director, Program Delivery, you will contribute to internal and external development of the company's specialty drug products and development of SEDs internal processes.
This role will provide you the opportunity to support key product development activities while gaining knowledge of biopharma product development and drive efficiencies for delivery of medicines to patients.
These responsibilities include the following :
- SED process owner for program delivery
- Develop and manage a centralized access point for SED program delivery
- Develop and implement standardized processes and templates to facilitate effective program delivery
- Use Agile / Lean methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
- Training, mentoring, and supporting Scrum teams to follow Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements that drive efficiencies.
- Responsible for the oversight and troubleshooting of SED resource planning and reporting of project forecasts and actuals through internal planning systems (I.
e. IRM, ET, Spotfire dashboards).
- SED process owner for the interface between SED and our Finance, Procurement and Legal business partners.
- Develop and manage a centralized access point for SED budgetary processes including POs, SOWs etc., all Master Service Agreements, Supply Agreements, contracts, CDA, QAA and other such agreements with business partners.
- Coordinate and manage an effective interface with MPD and project management to ensure SED is appropriately represented and IRM resource models are maintained.
- Work with SED / BPDS Finance partners to ensure 100% on time payment of invoices and accurate balancing of budgets and headcount and play an integral role in the AOP / long range budgeting process.
- Collates, monitors and reports relevant performance metrics associated with Third Party Oversight expectations.
- Identifies and implements system and process improvements based on performance metrics and stakeholder feedback.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external partners and to ensure accurate and up to date information is maintained for program delivery.
- Manages issues and risks identified in area of responsibility.
- Preparation of content for SED programs to support External Development and Operations (EDOC) portfolio meetings.
We are looking for a seasoned Associate Director, Program Delivery who has :
- Critical thinking skills to identify and solve problems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effectively interfacing with all levels of management and departments within the company and external partner sites.
- Strong organizational skills in order to maintain a high level of productivity and setting priorities in order to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Exhibits high initiative, strong drive and follow-through.
Basic Qualifications :
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :
- Bachelors with at least 8 years of industry experience OR Masters with at least 6 years of experience OR PhD with at least 3 years of experience
- Experience with 1 or more project management methodologies (e.g. PMP, Sigma, Change Management, Scrum, Design Thinking, other) and experience with associated toolsets (e.g. MS Project).
- Experience in program delivery in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Project coordination or project management experience
- Experience with managing internal and external teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :
- Excellent people and Project Management Skills.
- Project Manager certification preferred (PMP), demonstrated experience with budgeting and resource management.
- Certification as Scrum Mater (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), SAFe or other Agile relevant certification.
- Experience in Agile Management, Certified SCRUM master or Lean experience.
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions
- Ability to influence, motivate and gain commitment without direct authority.
- Leadership and management experience.
- Experience with Integrating internal and external operations systems is preferred.
- Ability to focus on details.
- Experience within coordination of projects involving multiple clients sometimes globally.
- Experience with program delivery processes, systems and tools typically used in industry.
- Displays strong leadership, facilitation, teamwork, networking, presentation, and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
