Description
Morris Animal Inn is a family-owned and operated luxury pet resort offering dogs & cats the finest in boarding, grooming, training & daycare services.
We are looking to expand our Grooming team and are currently hiring reliable and dedicated Part-Time Dog Bathers to join us at our Morristown location.
No prior professional experience is required but a natural comfort around dogs of all sizes is a must! The hourly pay starts at $15.
25 per hour. Additional pay considerations for candidates with professional pet care or grooming experience!
Availability to work on weekends & some holidays is required as our Grooming Salon is open 7 days a week.
What you'll be doing
- Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs using company-provided professional products and equipment
- Cleaning dogs' ears, trimming nails, and teeth brushing
- Closely monitoring dogs during the grooming process to ensure safety procedures are being followed
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all sanitation and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional customer service and a positive experience for both pets and their owners
- Gathering necessary information from pet owners and updating records
What you'll need to apply
- A natural comfort around dogs and the ability to safely handle breeds of varying sizes and temperaments with confidence and patience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Desire to work in a cohesive team environment
- Availability to work on weekends and some holidays
- Ability to walk / stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to read and understand written instructions / labels
