We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Senior Tax Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee and manage all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and strategy for our diverse real estate portfolio.
As a key player in our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting, while also identifying potential tax savings and strategies to support the company's financial objectives.

Responsibilities :
1. Oversee and manage all tax-related activities for the company's commercial real estate portfolio, including planning, compliance, and reporting.
2. Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize the company's financial performance and minimize tax liabilities.
3. Review and analyze financial statements and tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
4. Collaborate with the finance team and external auditors to prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions.
5. Monitor and interpret current and upcoming tax legislation to identify potential impacts and opportunities for the company.
6. Provide expert guidance and support to the finance team and senior management on all tax-related matters.
7. Lead and manage special projects as assigned, including tax audits, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Job Details
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA, MST, or JD / LLM in Taxation is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate accounting and tax, preferably in a senior management role.
3. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, particularly those related to commercial real estate.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and tax legislation.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of managing successful teams.
6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax information to non-tax professionals.
7. Proficiency in property accounting software and tax preparation software.
8. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
