The Role
The Senior Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing and managing AspenTech social media activities.
This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms and associated tools, excellent communication skills and the ability to create engaging content that resonates with targeted audiences.
Your Impact
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Glassdoor and others.
- Manage employee social media advocacy and social listening initiatives.
- Create, curate and manage published content (images, video, written) consistent with brand voice, style and tone.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, marketing, sales, product development and other teams around the world on social media activities.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up to date on the latest social media best practices and technologies.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
- 4+ years proven work experience as a social media specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices and tools (management, creative / production / analytics, etc.).
- Demonstrated strength in developing multi-form content.
- Experience developing social media activities in support of complex technology / industries.
- Creative mindset with the ability to innovate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team and within a global organization.
- Competence to collaborate with and educate senior executives on social media.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
