Shift Hours : Monday-Thursday 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm MANDATORY OT on Fridays
Essential Job Functions :
- Learns industrial math, print reading, and machining theory related to the department they are assigned
- Under the guidance of the Trainer or Team Leader, the operator learns skills related to the department which they are assigned
- Loads raw material and unloads finished product from machine
- Performs basic deburring on product
- Learns basics of safety, sawing, drilling, materials, turning, and speeds and feeds
- Learns safe operation of & receives practical experience on machines within the department they are assigned
- Follows sequence of operation on router
- Communicates with co-workers, and team leader to receive instructions and coordinate activities
Job Classification Requirements :
- Must be a high school graduate with previous manufacturing experience.
- Must have at least 2 years CNC experience.
- Must have manual lathe experience.
- Must have a good work ethic.
- Must be dependable and flexibly with a good attendance record.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor.
- Exerts between 10 and 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Always adheres to company safety policies.
Employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other duties as requested.
