DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will support the Building Manager's office by applying your problem-solving skills through administrative, public relations, and safety related duties.
Work involves providing information or direction to building visitors and callers, tracking all administrative office inventory and submitting re-stocking orders, and scheduling and issuing identification cards for people who work in the building.
This includes communicating with the Building Administrator on a regular basis and building positive and professional relationships to support your role as the point of contact for all comfort complaints, maintenance repairs, custodial service requests, and other needs for normal operation of the building.
You will establish and maintain files, prepare correspondence and reports, and assign the appropriate staff or individuals to complete normal requests as needed, seeking guidance from your supervisor in unusual situations.
You will also be expected serve as a liaison for Health, Safety, and Fire committee meetings as well as work with the contracted Security Guard company daily and with the fire department, police, or ambulance services if needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Essential employee - required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Additional Requirements :
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required) :
- Proficiency in Microsoft software, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of contract writing and implementation.
