job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFull scope accrual accounting within QuickBooks : A / P, A / R, GL, Journal Entries, Reconciliations, tracking Credit Cards, Vacations, 401K, payroll, etc. Process Accounts Payable from receipt of invoice, 3-way match, entry of invoice, through check run and mailing; matching PO's to receipts to the invoice Process customer invoices and follow through with timely collections as needed Manage cash by controlling incoming checks, deposits, cash application entry Work with customer and government portals for invoicing activities Prepare and analyze financial statements (income, cash flow, balance sheets) Perform general ledger accounting (journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes) Provide technical accounting expertise on complex transactions / standards Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (or related field) preferred 5+ years full-scope accrual accounting experience (Manufacturing preferred) Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop & accrual accounting is key! Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles Understanding of how balance sheets and reconciliation processes work Advanced knowledge MS Office applications (Excel, Word) Base salary in the 60k - 75k / year range 401k matching Medical, Dental, Vision insurance PTO (vacation, sick time) Small collaborative supportive team environment; able to make a strong impact; sole accounting role for the company

- Our client, a well-established & still growing small manufacturing business is currently seeking a General Accountant for full-scope accrual accounting to work within QuickBooks software at their York, PA location (14 employees).
- This is an onsite position, full time, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm; in a positive, collaborative, team environment. Our client is seeking a General Accountant full-charge accounting skills to handle the company's general accrual accounting and finance activities reporting to the Director of Operations.
