Are you a dynamic clinical thought leader with a passion for leading and developing high-quality behavioral health programs?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Clinical Services to oversee the administration, management, supervision, and development of our mental health programs at Bridgewater State Hospital.
Join our team and make a significant impact on the delivery of behavioral health services in our hospital!
Joint Commissions experience a plus. This role will have cross functional oversight to include Social Work and Occupational Therapy, up to director level.

- The Director of Clinical Services directs the development and implementation of clinical programming and assessment services;
provides clinical leadership; promotes staff education and training; and initiates performance improvement projects. This position is also responsible for monitoring the quality, integrity, and appropriateness of clinical services provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs the development and delivery of evidence-based clinical services to ensure that the highest quality of individual served-centered care is being provided.
- Provides clinical consultation and support.
- Provides clinical and administrative oversight of all clinical services staff.
- Monitors, oversees, and directs the quality and appropriateness of all documentation to ensure compliance with all laws, policies, regulations and accreditation bodies.
Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives required by the contract and those that focus on improving delivery of clinical care, assessment services, treatment planning, and fidelity of group and individual treatment.
Represents the department in facility-wide committees.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Required : Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology
Experience
- Required : Experience working with the population served.
- Preferred : 5 years prior management experience.
- Demonstrates the ability to establish a vision for a program, implement changes to support program and team development, and manage a diverse group of individuals up to the director level.
Licenses / Certifications
Required : Licensed Clinical Psychologist
