Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Des Plaines, IL, is seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to fill multiple contract positions for the upcoming school year. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who hold either an SLP - CCC certification or are in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY). The school district requires a total approximate full-time equivalent (FTE) of 10.0 to support their student population.

Key Qualifications :

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology OR currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in K-12 settings
  • Ability to collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Commitment to providing individualized therapy services

Location : Des Plaines, Illinois (K-12 school)

Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech-language evaluation and therapy services to students across K-12 grades
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports as required
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist in training and supporting educators as needed for speech and language interventions
