PURPOSE
This is a salary position exempt from overtime, responsible for the documentation of quality of installation and conditions of materials received on job sites.
Create and develop relationships supportive of the Baker Group mission statement with employees, internal and external customers.
Maintain and grow the Customer for Life concept for existing and new customers. Performs related work as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for all inspections related to installations, testing, commissioning for projects in the field
- Perform daily inspections of Baker Group installations, document in appropriate coordination system
- Prepare daily QA / QC report regarding inspections, material and non-conformances
- Conduct inspection of all ongoing activities
- Conduct inspections of all material deliveries, making sure that arriving material matches ordered specifications and quantities.
Follow up with supplier to correct any discrepancies
- Photograph all Baker Group installations after completion and organize all photos on Baker Group servers for easy future reference
- Attend all inspections with client / contractor representatives
- Submit inspection reports in coordination with concerned project managers
- Prepare weekly surveillance reports, non-conformance reports and verification of corrective actions
- Check drawings and documents use at site for approvals and compliance with project requirements
- Ensure that all work is carried out per the approved method statements and drawings
- Ensure that all equipment used is calibrated and has a valid certificate
- Assist / coordinate the preparation of the final handing over of QC / QA documents, testing and commissioning reports
- Preparation of testing and commissioning method statements in coordination with vendors, general contractors and project owners representatives
- Assist with organizing and storing of material / equipment
- Verify that the field is following Manufacturing installation requirements
- Record and document all Manufacturing installation instructions
- Accurate daily time and equipment reporting
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Journeyman License or
- Associates / Bachelor ’s Degree in related field or
- 5 years of experience in the field of Quality Assurance Quality Control
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Driver’s License
- OSHA 30 Hour Certificate
