As a Project Manager at Instagrid, you lead the product development of batteries and other portable power solutions from a validated concept to industrialization.

Working with an interdisciplinary team of engineers and designers, you create cutting-edge products that revolutionize how our customers power their work.

Your role is critical in managing complex projects : setting tasks and timelines, mitigating risks from technology development through certification to production, and aligning capacities across engineering, purchasing, quality, and other departments.

Your goal is to bring product concepts to life - within time, budget, and specifications - delivering real value to our customers and contributing significantly to Instagrid's growth in the clean energy sector.

In this crucialrole, you will mainly partner with the Battery department and other stakeholders throughout the company and will :

• Lead the industrialization process for battery products, managing the transition from validated concepts to full-scale production.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including task allocation, timelines, and resource management across all project phases.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to technology development, product certification, and production processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and other departments to align capacities, resolve technical challenges, and ensure seamless integration of product designs into manufacturing processes.
• Oversee project budgets and ensure delivery of final products that meet quality standards, performance specifications, and customer expectations within set timelines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality certifications throughout the industrialization process.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize industrialization processes and enhance efficiency.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in battery technology or related industries
• Proven track record of successfully managing industrialization projects from concept to production
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with industry standards and certification requirements in the battery sector
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g. PMP)
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on occasions (approx. 3-5 times a year for 3-5 days)
• Fluent in English. German is a plus
