We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Payroll Specialist, 3-5 days a month, to join our team in Rochester, New York.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing our company's payroll system, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity, providing a dynamic work environment for you to apply and develop your skills in Payroll management and accounting software systems.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and process the company's payroll using accounting software systems.
- Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for efficient payroll processing.
- Implement Ceridian and Dayforce systems for accurate payroll calculations and record-keeping.
- Conduct 401k - RRSP Administration duties in adherence to company policies and regulations.
- Utilize the 'About Time' system for effective time management and payroll processing.
- Perform various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record keeping.
- Conduct auditing of payroll records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Manage and administer employee benefit functions, ensuring all benefits are correctly allocated.
- Resolve any payroll-related issues or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll systems and accounting software to ensure efficient job performance.
- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
- Knowledge of Ceridian and Dayforce systems
- Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration

- Understanding of Accounting Functions
