Knack Works is looking for a senior level Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain technical solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with other developers to design and implement features
- Serve as mentor to less experienced software engineers

- BA / BS Business Information Technology, BA / BS Computer Science, BA / BS Computer Engineering
- At least 10 years of relevant technical experience
- Active TS / SCI with Polygraph is required
- Knowledge of relational database fundamentals
- DevOps experience, to include version control, automated builds, automated testing, and continuous integration with tools such as Gitlab
- Self-starter with strong innovative and analytical ability
- Proficient in Python, Java or Go
- Experience in web development using progressive JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Knowledge of software engineering and best practices for full software development life cycle; coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
- Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of DevOps / CI / CD tools and benefits
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
- Well practiced in Agile development
