- Guaranteed Hours : 36 (will accept 48 upon request)
- Charting Experience : Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
- Patient Population : General medical ICU patients general cardiac / neuro, respiratory failure, vascular post -surgical, renal failure, sepsis.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Experience REQUIRED : 3 years as RN, 1 full year of ICU / Medical ICU / Neuro ICU experience, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.
- Skillset REQUIRED : NIHSS / dysphagia screen / strong neuro assessment skills. Tele / 12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), ETT / vent management (RT available), Initiate / titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.
sepsis protocols / care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocol.
PREFERRED : CRRT, tPa administration / assessments, massive transfusion (Belmont).
Schedule Information
- Shift Requirement : 12hr Nights 6 : 30-7
- Float Requirement : First to float within skillset.
- Weekend / Holiday Requirement : Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.

- Unit Information : 28 beds. Ratio : Days 1 : 2-3; NOCs 1 : 2-3; CN rarely takes patients.
- Unit Strengths : Excellent teamwork and helpful charge nurses.
- Scrub Colors : Navy blue scrubs
