This is a role that reports directly to the SeniorVice President of Sales & Marketing for the Point of Care (POC) businessline.
The Vice President, Global Head of Indirect Markets will provide strategic leadership over the business line’ssales plans to achieve company revenue targets across 60+ countries throughdedicated business (distributor) partners.
The role overseesapproximately 30+ FTEs globally. The role can be located in either the North orLatin America region or Europe.
Your role :
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achievecompany revenue targets, meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and expandmarket share in the SHS Point of Care (POC) diagnostics portfolio across >
60targeted countries in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific
- Lead, mentor, and inspire comprehensive commercialteams across dedicated geographies and markets via their contractuallydedicated Business (Distributor) Partners to exceed sales goals and deliverexceptional customer experience across critical care, primary care andemergency care settings in both public and private customer channels
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with keycustomers, distributors, and industry partners to drive business growth andidentify new opportunities across product portfolios and markets
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitoractivity to identify opportunities for growth and development utilizingtargeted sales strategies in conjunction with POC Global Commercial Excellenceteams
- Hire, develop and coach extraordinary staff membersand sales leaders / professionals who execute and administer complex salesstrategies to accelerate growth, address customer pain-points and maximizelong-term partnerships with Siemens Healthineers (SHS) POC
- Collaborate with internal teams including but limitedto marketing, product development, service and sales operations as needed toensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives and BusinessPartners capabilities and commitments
- Working cross functionally with other SHS teams suchas Key Accounts, Government Affairs and Enterprise Solutions to further developand drive our business opportunities, while ensuring customers meet or exceedcontractual obligations
- Drive sales process optimization and continuousimprovement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across thesales organization, including implementing instrument installations and ongoingsupport
- Provide reporting, insight and analysis of salesperformance metrics, forecasts, and pipeline activity to executive leadershipas required in conjunction with Global Commercial Excellence
- Proactively monitor industry developments, regulatorychanges, and technological advancements to influence sales strategies andmaintain a competitive edge in the market
- Budget responsibility for travel and expenses forGlobal Indirect teams, including the responsibility to oversee and managespending in line with the company’s goals and expectations
Your expertise :
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales,marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive sales leadershipexperience in the diagnostic, medical technology, or point of care industry,with a proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenuetargets in multiple geographies, including via Business / Distribution partners.
- Experience managing direct reports required.
- Extensive and proven understanding of sales processes,techniques, and methodologies, with documented success in consultative sellingand complex sales cycles
- Demonstrated experience negotiating, winning andmaintaining a portfolio of material contracts and tenders
- Experience in commercial strategy, including sales,pricing, reimbursement and policy
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonalskills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results
- Excels at conflict management to eliminate wherepossible barriers to success
- Proven track record in leading projects to successfulcompletion
- Proven track record ofbuilding and retaining world class leadership teams and driving engagementthrough the organization while managing, developing, and growing a diverseworkforce.
- Naturally connects and buildsstrong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligenceand an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- An ability to inspire trustand followership in others through compelling influence, powerful charisma,passion in his / her beliefs, and active drive.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables andcomfortable leading during environments of ambiguity or conflicting priorities
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability todevelop and execute sales plans, identify market opportunities, and drivebusiness growth across multiple geographies
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage dataand metrics to make informed decisions and drive performance improvements
- Must possess outstanding oral and writtencommunication skills, including ability to present highly technical topics in aclear and concise manner
- Proven ability to present and effectively communicateto customers, direct reports and also SHS executive management
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamicenvironment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing external and internalpriorities, market conditions and new opportunities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industrystandards, and best practices in the diagnostic, medical technology, andparticularly point of care sectors in multiple geographies
- Able to work remotely and travel to support salesactivities and engage with customers, partners, teammates and attend industryevents as needed across the dedicated indirect markets.
