Miller Transportation Group is looking for a Rental Account Manager to support our growing company in the Northern NJ area.
This position is an addition to our sales team and will require a combination of account management and outside sales techniques.
Ideal applicants will have commercial truck rental experience and the ability to work independently.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Sell commercial truck rental services to businesses in accordance with established company guidelines
- Responsible to follow the company's merchandising plan in developing the rental customer base on both an aggregate and branch basis
- Act as a liaison between internal customers such as the maintenance department, lease sales representatives, and administration
- Knowledgeable of trucks, truck equipment, and trucking regulations
Requirements
You Have :
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Associate's Degree
- Prior Commercial Truck Rental experience
- Outside sales experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Willingness to travel as necessary
You May Also Have :
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Familiarity with DOT regulations
