About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technician Job Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day, 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years required License : VA Board of Medicine license required Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) required- ARRT registered required Must-Have : VA Board of Medicine license in hand or proof of application upon submission- COVID-19 vaccine required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons- Flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1st - Mar 31st), with medical exemptions only Job Description : Perform diagnostic imaging using X-Ray technology.
- Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.- Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Provide accurate patient records and documentation.- Experience with operating room (OR) skills is preferred.- Familiarity with EPIC software is preferred, and attendance at EPIC training is required if applicable.
- Workers may be expected to attend an accelerated or two-day EPIC class unless they recently completed similar training.
- Position involves potential on-call duties, with proximity requirements to the facility.- Floating may be required in accordance with facility policies.
- Complete mandatory orientation and module training hours as assigned.
