Responsibilities :

  • Provide clear direction and focus to Area Managers and the rest of the cleaning operations in line with the Ecowize purpose and values.
  • Ensure customer retention by playing a leading role in collaboration between operations and other services and products offered to clients.
  • Ensure Area Managers are consistently driving operational efficiency and compliance through best practice.
  • Play an active role in identifying opportunities for growth and looking for new and improved ways to identify and implement cost saving initiatives which will ultimately drive profitability.

Required Skills :

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Support geographic regions of food processing facilities traveling and staying overnight when needed.
  • Take part in monthly meetings with customers to make sure the relationship is strong, and satisfaction is high.
  • Assist in setting up meetings with potential new customers, touring plants, and involved in bidding new business.
  • Maintain constant line of communication with customer’s management team regarding sanitation operations.
  • Responsible for completing necessary reports and communicating effectively with customer personnel.
  • Focus on empowering, developing, and motivating teams and individuals to perform at their best.
  • Promote and cultivate company values by encouraging specific behaviors.
  • Take appropriate corrective action when behavior is not in line with the Ecowize values.
  • Ensuring that the sites take the necessary actions and ensure training interventions are taken to eliminate food safety risks.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.

Preferred Skills :

  • Be able to communicate with team members, company managers, customer staff and government officials.
  • Be willing to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be willing to work in all environmental conditions that exist in food processing plants (hot, cold, loud, and wet).
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor and represent the company in a professional manner to our customers, prospective customers, managers, and employees.
  • Be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including management, supervisory and entry-level hourly employees.
  • Must be dependable, competent, and willing to follow up on assigned tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail, problem solving and trouble shooting skills are essential.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Required : Must possess sound knowledge of steps to sanitary restoration. Must be knowledgeable in industrial safety practices such as Lock Out / Tag Out, HAZCOMM, and other areas.

Must be familiar with GMPs.

Preferred : Bi-lingual highly preferred (English / Spanish)

    • Management : 5 years (Required)
    • Minimum of 3 years Regional / Area Manager
    • Food Processing USDA / FDA Sanitation : 5 years (Required)

    Work Location : On the road. Traveling in the East region (PA, RI, MD, NY, NJ)
