Summary :
The 3-North Unit RN has the responsibility andaccountability for assessing patient / family health problems andresources, taking a leadership role in the planning,implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care asprovided by the nursing team.
The RN will provide technical nursingcare and interventions to a designated patient population. Per thedepartment’s Scope of Service, this position requires providingservices to Medical / Surgical patients, ages eighteen and above, ina manner that demonstrates an understanding of thefunctional / developmental age of the individuals served.
Thisposition requires the full understanding and active participationin fulfilling the mission of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
It is expected that the associate demonstrate behavior consistentwith the Core Values. The associate shall support CHRISTUS St.
Frances Cabrini Hospital’s strategic plan and the goals anddirection of the hospital’s Performance Improvement Plan(PIP).
Requirements :
- One-year recent nursing experiencepreferred.
- Current Louisiana RNLicense
- CurrentBLS
- Current ACLS
