Description
- Oversee accounting operations including AP, AR, Credit Management, and General Ledger.
- Lead month-end close activities ensuring timely and accurate US GAAP reporting.
- Streamline and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Implement and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.
- Research and document technical accounting positions.
- Develop cross-functional partnerships to operationalize accounting concepts.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering continuous learning.
- Manage talent, including coaching and motivating team members.
- Handle ad-hoc projects as needed.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP.
- Ability to navigate challenges and deliver on commitments.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with a focus on improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing demands.
