Volt is hiring entry level Data Center Technicians in Sparks NV.
As a Data Center Technician, you will assist with decommissioning computer servers, networking devices and associated equipment in a cutting edge data center for one of the largest companies in the world.
You will be responsible for removing hard drives from servers, disconnecting all cables, removing servers from racks and organizing equpiment on pallets for shipping.
This is a full time opportunity estimated to last for 12 months.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Familiarity with computer hardware (hard drives and ethernet cables)
- Able to work as part of a team and independently as needed
- Willingness to stand and walk for an entire 8 hour shift
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. repeatedly
Shift : Mon-Friday, 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm
Pay Rate : $20 per hour
