Job Description
Maintain the day-to-day operations and assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Director.

Essential Duties :
Helps keep community and surrounding areas in clean, orderly and well maintained condition by performing the following duties :
- Maintains exterior building cleanliness; empties trash containers, Cleans and polishes same.
- Cleans outdoor furnishings and restages these areas at the end of each day.
- Helps set up common areas for activities and events; restages these areas at the end of each day.
- Conducts residents checks in IL as required or requested.
- Sorts, logs and delivers all resident packages.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replaces light bulbs.
- Assists in maintenance of outside grounds and parking areas which includes but is not limited to picking up litter and keeping walkways and driveways free of debris.
- Delivers messages. Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Assists Maintenance Director with maintenance tasks as needed
- Assists in setting up rooms for special events. Helps clean up such areas after events are concluded.
Qualifications
- Less than high school education; or up to one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- As required by local and state regulating bodies.
