About The Position

ID : 50851800 Shift : 8H Days Mon-Fri, 40 hours, 9am-5 : 30pm Description : Unit OT after 8 hrs / day.Bill OT after 40 hours / week.

We have an immediate need for a Physical Therapist (Generalist) for a 3 month travel assignment. The PT would see mostly outpatients but may flex to inpatients (Acute Care).

Shift : Mon-Fri, 40 hours, 9am-5 : 30pm flexibleQualifications : Current Alaska Physical Therapy license required. An interested candidate can apply with the State of Alaska for a license.

I believe it takes about two to four weeks. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience is required. Have skills and comfort in treating general outpatient / inpatient and adult rehabilitation.

Must maintain a current BLS certification. Requires a degree from an accredited university recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.

Start date : ASAP, depends on if candidate has an AK PT license. If they do not, we could wait for their application for licensure to be approved.

We also require an Alaska Background clearance which takes about two weeks we can help facilitate that. Info about SPH and Homer, Alaska : South Peninsula Hospital is a 22 bed critical access hospital (CAH), with an attached 28 bed long term care facility, and a variety of clinics.

We provide care close to home for the southern Kenai Peninsula. We have been three times named a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital out of more than 1,300 critical access hospitals nationwide.

Homer, Alaska, is a seaside town nestled on the shores of beautiful Kachemak Bay, offering breathtaking views of glaciers, mountains and wildlife.

Cancellation cancel any shift or part of a shift without penalty, according to the following limits : 3 shifts for any assignment of 13 weeks or less, 4 shifts for any assignment of 14-20 weeks, and 5 shifts for any assignment of 21 weeks or more.
