Job Summary :
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will utilize our nursing professional practice model to deliver comprehensive patient care in surgical settings.
You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing complications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct preoperative patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Assist surgeons during procedures while managing sterile environments and upholding rigorous surgical standards.
- Facilitate the use of advanced surgical technology and techniques within a collaborative team setting.
- Monitor patient recovery and provide post-operative care and education to patients and families.
- Advocate for patient safety and quality of care through adherence to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills & Qualifications :
Education :
Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
Experience :
Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting preferred.
Certifications :
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
