Adult Mental Health Therapist IOP (MA/MSW) Part-Time, $5K sign-on bonus

Responsibilities

Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency.

Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities.

Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Therapist facilitates quality, evidence-based mental health therapy groups. The IOP Therapist is responsible for conducting group therapy sessions, maintaining accurate patient documentation in the medical record, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, working in conjunction with members of a multidisciplinary team, communicating with family members, referral sources and community partners and coordinating patients’ discharge plans.

This position will facilitate the Part-Time, Evening IOP, which runs three days per week from 6p-9p. This is a part-time, weekday, evening position.

Qualifications

Requirements :

• The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical / Counseling Psychology or Marriage & Family Therapy required.
• Prior experience providing therapeutic interventions for the psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient or group setting.
• Provisional licensure in respective field (, LPCC, MFTC) required or applicant can demonstrate that the process to obtain this is underway.

LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred.

Knowledge of group and individual therapy interventions and modalities, risk assessment and crisis / behavior management, mental health disorders and associated treatment, discharge planning and patient case management preferred or ability to learn.
