Security Officer Residential Unarmed Patrol Pt

As a Security Officer Residential Unarmed Patrol PT in Orange, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with residents and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $17.32 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AMSun10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and property management to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
