About The Position

Job Description & Requirements

Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)

StartDate : ASAP Pay Rate : $1701.50 - $1960.43

Rad Tech needed ASAPNights / 3x12Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 hrsEMR : CERNER / EPICScrub Color : Black1+ years experiencePositions and transfers patients properly.

Produces quality diagnostic radiographs. Selects and operates all radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. Processes film.

Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards by shielding and collimation of the radiation beam.

Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician and within the guidelines of the Radiology Department / Health System policies.

Schedules radiology examinations in the correct manner. Accurately charges for supplies used. Assists the radiologists and other staff physicians in performing radiology procedures.

Assists in performing first aid if necessary. Assists referring physicians in locating films and reports in the Radiology Department.

Transports patients to and from their rooms, or other areas, as needed. Keeps the work area clean and orderly. Completes all required continuing education.
