A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Trademark Attorney with 2-4 years of solid experience in trademark prosecution, counseling, and litigation.

Duties :
- Prepare and file trademark applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and international trademark offices.
- Conduct comprehensive trademark clearance searches and provide detailed clearance opinions.
- Manage and maintain domestic and global trademark portfolios, including monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with trademark laws.
- Handle trademark prosecution, including responding to office actions and resolving conflicts with opposing parties.
- Represent clients in TTAB proceedings, including filing and defending opposition and cancellation actions.
- Provide strategic counseling on trademark issues, including brand protection, enforcement, and expansion.
- Draft and review trademark-related agreements, such as licensing and coexistence agreements.
- Advise clients on trademark litigation matters and collaborate with external counsel.
- Keep abreast of current trademark law and practice developments to provide informed advice to clients.
Requirements :
- 2-4 years of experience in trademark prosecution, counseling, and litigation.
- Proven track record of preparing trademark clearance opinions and managing trademark portfolios.
- Experience with TTAB proceedings and related trademark disputes.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong analytical and research skills to assess complex trademark issues and provide sound legal advice.
Education :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Certifications :
Admission to the Bar in Georgia or obtaining admission upon hire.
