Precision Grinder : Working without supervision, Precision Grinders create tooling or machined parts of all levels of complexity either to print or from scratch, demonstrating advanced competencies in machine setup, shop math, print reading, and materials properties.
As well as advanced competencies working with complex measuring tools to perform mechanical inspection processes. Proficient in using either OD or ID grinders to achieve specific finishes or close tolerances on tooling or machined parts.
Typically, 6+ years of experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Interpret work instructions (Routers & Work Docs etc.)
- Setup and operate a variety of precision grinding machines
- Perform ID & OD Precision Grinding operations
- Perform in process inspection on manufactured product.
Required Skills :
- The ability to read and write English.
- Advanced understanding of grinding machines and proper use.
- Advanced competencies in inspection tools and processes.
- Advanced competencies in shop math and print reading.

Typically 6+ Years
Level of Education :
GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $17.75 to $26.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.
For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter.
