Average pay : $1,250-$1,530 weekly

Experience : THREEMONTHS

Overview

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 95% no-touch freight that is mostly drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama and North Carolina.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus : Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement is strongly preferred.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• TWIC card preferred required to start process within 60 days of hire.
• Live within 40 miles of Charlotte, NC.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
