Patient Care Technician, IMC Telemetry - PRN - CHRISTUS Health
DescriptionSummary : Under the supervision and / or direction of the Registered Nurse, the Nurse Assistant / PCT performs various direct patient care activities in accordance with the Nursing Department policies and procedures.
The Nurse Assistant / PCT is able to assist with the care of hospitalized patients. The Nurse Assistant / PCT may be assigned other functions in accordance with hospital / department policies, procedures, and protocols.
Requirements : A. Education / Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred; certificate of completion from an approved Nurse Assistant training program or two (2) years prior experience as Nurse Assistant in another health care facility;
or proof of acceptance into an approved LVN program. B. Experience Six (6) months experience in a hospital preferred. C.
