Position Overview :
The Sales Executive will lead the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location customers across three brands : Unarco Industries, Cannon Equipment, and LA Darling.
Job Responsibilities :
Market Research and Analysis :
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Analyze data to develop insights that inform strategic business decisions.
Strategic Planning :
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align business development goals with overall company strategy.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management :
- Identify and engage with potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Lead the development of proposals and presentations for client pitches.
Sales and Revenue Generation :
- Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive business development efforts.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- Provide feedback to enhance products / services based on client needs and market demands.
Networking :
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong professional network within the industry.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales, with a minimum of five years of experience.
- Strong understanding of the retail market and its dynamics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
