Our client is seeking a skilled litigation attorney who handles all aspects of legal disputes, representing clients in court and during negotiations.
Key responsibilities include preparing and filing legal documents, conducting legal research, developing case strategies, and presenting arguments in court.
They manage client communications, gather evidence, and work with experts to build strong cases. Additionally, litigation attorneys may negotiate settlements and advise clients on legal rights and obligations throughout the litigation process.
Responsibilities :
- Manage defense litigation cases from inception to resolution, including those that proceed to trial.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and in-depth case analysis.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs and expert witnesses.
- Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Washington State Bar.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of defense litigation experience.
