Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Configuration Management Engineer to support a US Navy program through hybrid work located in San Diego, CA at the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific.
The Software Configuration Management Engineer will manage configuration management of software and software applications across development environments and fielded systems for multiple baselines at multiple classification levels.
NO C2C OR 1099
This opportunity requires a TS / SCI clearance and the ability to maintain that level of clearance for the duration of employment.
Responsibilities for the Software Configuration Management Engineer includes :
- Develop and oversee all Configuration Management (CM) procedures, offering upgrades and suggestions for betterment
- Create system baseline media to facilitate the installation of JFN Nodes
- Establish, execute, enhance, and uphold rules and protocols that provide Configuration Management in compliance with Point of Reference specifications
- Collaborate with many suppliers to establish a productive procedure for consistent software updates into a continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline that facilitates a containerized environment
Qualifications of the Software Configuration Management Engineer includes :
- 5+ years of experience managing various software environments and software components to maintain a know configuration posture
- Must posses an Active TS / SCI Clearance PRIOR to applying
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and / or experience
- Experience with any DOD Enterprise and Experimental C5I systems and networks
Compensation for the Software Configuration Management Engineer include :
- Up to $160K based on experience
