Salary : $40 - $60 / hr
Washington Outpatient Surgery Center, LLC (WOSC) is a multi-specialty center, with five operating rooms and two procedure rooms, that operates Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities
- Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition
- Maintaining logs and x-ray badges for employees
- Meet with Radiation Safety Officer and make changes as needed
- Complete DOT course to receive seeds for Brachytherapy cases
- Completes duties according to the requirements of each procedure needing radiological support
- Assembles necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician's preferences
- Operate c-arm and mini c-arm during procedures
- Take x-rays post-procedure as needed
- Accurately comprehends and interprets verbal orders and direction
- Confirms that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray
- Applies prescribed procedures to competently perform radiology technician functions
- Follows principles of aseptic technique in performing duties during the procedure
- Follows manufacturer's specifications and OSHA guidelines when performing x-ray procedures
- Performs required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment as needed
Education / Licensure Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA approved training program for Radiologic Technologist, required.
- Certified by the State of California, required.
- Registry by A.R.R.T, required.
- Current AHA BLS Certification
Qualifications and Skills
- ASC experience preferred
- C-Arm experience required
- EPIC experience preferred
- Strong ethical and moral character references
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians and with their office personnel, coworkers, and other healthcare facilities in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner
- Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, and general public
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems
- Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication in American English
