Decontamination Tech- Per Diem Weekend evening-(3290165)
Description
Schedule : Per diem, 16 hours. Every Saturday and Sunday 3 : 00Pm-11 : 30pm. Rotating holidays required.
- The Decontam Tech collects biohazard waste, replaces sharps containers, picks up soiled linen throughout the hospital, cleans equipment necessary for patient care (pumps, commodes, seizure pads, stretchers,
- Distributes linen throughout the hospital when necessary.
- Complete quarterly equipment cleaning.
- Attend monthly meetings.
- Complete other duties and / or tasks as needed.

Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Staff adheres to all . Standards
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English : oral, written, and typed
- Ability to converse with patients and staff in a friendly and courteous manner
- Must be able to follow instructions, printed or verbal
- This position requires the candidate to be on their feet most of the shift as required and be able to help transfer patients from beds to stretchers and wheelchairs.
