About The Position
ID : 51791325 Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AMEvery Other Weekend Required. Holidays- As Needed. No on Call. 2+ years o Description : Job Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
- Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient s needs.-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
- Initiates assessment based on the patient s problems or needs, the physician s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.-Manages care of patients.-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and / or clinical priorities.
- Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Schedule PM - 7 : 30 AMEvery Other Weekend Required. Holidays- As Needed. No on Call. 2+ years of strong experience in ICU / CCU (cardiac)- experience-Required.
BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA-required. CCRN preferred.NIHSS cert- Required (can be obtained after acceptance but PRIOR TO START).
Knowledge of complex cardiac care (e.g-balloon pumps) Preferred.Will be caring for Covid-19 patients when needed. If needed- Worker will float to ANY unit in hospital.
This includes MedSurg, Tele, and Step Down units.Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer.
Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a prioritySkills : Required Skills & Experience : -2+ years of strong experience in critical care as well as a background in med / surg.
