Qualifications :
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Endorsements
- Special Education Teaching License
Positions Available :
- Special Education Teachers : Collaborate with students to provide personalized learning experiences.
- LBS1 Teachers (Teacher Leaders) : Lead IEP meetings and guide fellow educators in best practices.
- High School Special Education Teacher and 1 Teacher Leader : Inspire and support high school students, taking on a leadership role.
- Elementary Special Education Teachers : Foster young minds and create a positive learning environment.
- Elementary Teacher Leader : Guide and mentor elementary educators while contributing to student growth.
- Early Childhood Special Education Teacher : Lay the foundation for learning in our early childhood program.
Responsibilities :
As a Special Education Teacher at Anchorage School District, you will :
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with a team of educators and professionals to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
