Required Certifications :
- BLS Provider (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (from Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation)
- Advanced Life Support (preferred, American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (preferred, American Academy of Pediatrics)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred, American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (preferred, National Board for Respiratory Care)
- ACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialist) (preferred, National Board for Respiratory Care)
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Critical Care (preferred, National Board for Respiratory Care)
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation (preferred, National Board for Respiratory Care)
