Job Title : Network Engineer

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Network Engineer to join our Network Team. This individual will play a crucial role in advancing both our internal and cloud network infrastructure.

The team supports 52 diverse sites. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of progressive experience in Cisco networking, including network evaluation and design for both wired and wireless networks, and experience with Palo Alto firewalls.

As we transition workloads to Azure, cloud networking expertise is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Planning & Implementation : Provide strategic planning, innovative solutions, and advanced technical knowledge to design, implement, and support enterprise voice, video, and data services that align with the company’s business and IT objectives.
  • Technical Leadership : Offer hands-on technical leadership and manage projects from initiation to completion for voice, video, and data infrastructure in complex engineering environments.
  • Collaboration : Partner with leaders in other business units to define requirements and develop scalable and reliable network infrastructure to meet current and future business needs.
  • Network Maintenance : Install, maintain, and enhance a global Cisco wired and wireless network that delivers voice, video, and data services on corporate production and guest networks.
  • Change Management : Coordinate and implement low to high-risk network changes according to the ITIL framework, independently managing mission-critical functional areas while adhering to established designs and configurations.
  • Security : Manage perimeter network security, including firewalls.
  • Cloud Networking : Support and manage Azure cloud networking.

Skills Required :

  • Expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routers, Azure, and wireless networking.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and change management processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • On-call duties are required, but calls are minimal.
  • Minimal weekend work.
  • Must reside / work in Wisconsin.
