About The Position
Job Title : Physician Job Specialty : Traumatic Brain Injury / General Medicine Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours Experience : Must be proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological exams.
License : Active and unrestricted full license in Ohio Certifications : Board Certified Must-Have : Own a laptop (no Mac / Apple products)- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified Job Description : Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams.
- Conduct one-time non-treatment exams and separation health assessments.- Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessments, such as range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluating traumatic brain injury.
- Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is required.- Complete reporting / Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and submit them within 48 hours upon exam completion using the provided provider portal.
- Conduct record reviews in most cases.- Follow-up administrative work, including addendums and medical opinions, will be required regularly.
- Participate in PEP training sessions via Zoom or Microsoft Teams for guidance on navigating the online portal and completing DBQs.
- Opportunity to travel to other locations if needed, with travel expenses reimbursed per guidelines.
