Water Song is excited to bring you the traditions and flavors from our hometown in Yunnan Province, China. We offer Chinese food with a variety of savory, flavorful dishes, from traditional Yunnan rice noodles called Mixian, to delightful appetizers and sweet desserts.

Duties and responsibilities include :
- Completing all tasks, in order, on the prep list from the Head Chef or other kitchen manager
- Labeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelves
- Washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats
- Measuring quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients
- Parboiling food, reducing sauces, and starting first steps in various dishes
- Keeping track of ingredient inventory and collaborating with other kitchen and management staff to order resupply
- Ensures food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
- Seasons and cooks food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
- Bakes, roasts, broils, and steams meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
- Observes and tests foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
Job Qualifications
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience : 2 years + of related experience
