JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of ostomy care for patients; functions as a consultant for patients with draining wounds, fistulas, pressure sores, skin problems, and incontinence;

develop nursing staff skills in ostomy; wound and skin care for optimal patient care. Responsible for coordinating a comprehensive program for the nursing care, education and rehabilitation of patients requiring wound, ostomy, and incontinence care.
