About the Job :

The position of Technical Product Manager will have the primary responsibility for driving changes to enhance the user experience.

This role requires a deep understanding of both technology and business, with the ability to translate technical requirements into marketable products.

The TPM will collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business objectives.

In This Role, You Will :

Product Strategy & Planning : Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.

Define product vision, goals, and product roadmap. Maintain and prioritize the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders based on business value, technical feasibility, and market demand.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation : Conduct research to identify opportunities and define product needs and enhancements.

Through a strong understanding of systems behaviors, assist in clearly documenting product requirements and configuration updates in the form of business cases, project justifications or functional requirements ready to be used by the development team.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and prioritize features accordingly.

Key relationships : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, data services, innovations, and sales to ensure alignment and execution of the product roadmap.

Communicate product priorities and updates to stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and updates.

Release Management & Quality Assurance : Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to release.

Coordinate with engineering teams to define release schedules, work closely with QA teams to define and conduct thorough testing, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery of quality features.

Performance Tracking : Plan and execute product launches, including developing marketing collateral, conducting training sessions, and coordinating with sales teams to drive adoption and awareness.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of products. Analyze data and feedback to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement.

All other duties and projects as assigned.

Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of three years in product management, process engineering, change management, and / or logistics. Preferably in the IT industry with technical understanding of system behaviors.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in technologies supporting logistics, ocean shipping and / or multi-mode is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Location :

This is an in-office role based in our office in Fullerton, CA

Compensation :

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements.

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including : your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors.

The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.

The pay for this role is : $138,200 to $179,100 annually.
