Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry unit and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Monitor and record patient vitals and progress.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate positive patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-hospital care.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
1 year of nursing experience.
Certifications Required
NIH Stroke Scale certification (NIHSS).
Preferred Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Work Environment
This position involves working in a hospital setting, which requires standing for long periods, lifting patients, and working with medical equipment.
The role may also involve exposure to infectious diseases, so adherence to safety protocols is essential.
