Key Responsibilities Include

Leadership and Collaboration : The GM provides strong leadership, collaborating closely with the business unit president and other key stakeholders to execute short and long-term goals.

This involves fostering a cohesive team environment and ensuring clear communication across departments.

Production Oversight : They are accountable for all aspects of production, including cultivation, processing, inventory management, and distribution.

This entails optimizing production processes to maximize efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

  • Quality Assurance : Ensuring the highest quality cannabis products is paramount. The Operations Director oversees quality assurance processes, implementing protocols to monitor and maintain product quality throughout the production cycle.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Staying abreast of state and federal regulations is critical in the cannabis industry. The Operations Director ensures that all operations adhere to regulatory requirements, implementing and enforcing company SOPs to maintain compliance.
  • Performance Evaluation : Regular assessment of facility performance is conducted to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

This involves analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing strategies to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Financial Management : Meeting financial goals is integral to the success of the business unit. The Operations Director oversees budgeting, cost control measures, and revenue generation initiatives to ensure financial objectives are met.

Salary

$120000 - $200000 USD per year

Required Skills

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in cannabis operations management, preferably in a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of cultivation techniques, processing methods, and distribution logistics
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
