Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Network Engineer to join our company. The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring enterprise network infrastructure (wired and wireless).

They will support, troubleshoot data networks in all aspects of design, configuration, and implementation, to ensure high availability for business solutions.

Candidate must have excellent technical expertise, project, and time management abilities, proven problem resolution skills while also exhibiting curiosity to implement new ideas and solutions.

Critical Job Functions :

• Support current deployment of company’s LANs, WANs and Wireless networks including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, load balancers and other network related hardware.
• Serve as technical resource on a functional basis for the resolution of network problems.
• Participate in various projects intended to continually improve / upgrade network infrastructure.
• Research, and identify any network deficiencies or to enhance network performance.
• Analyze network activity and network problems to discover and prevent systematic errors.
• Document procedures and keep network diagrams and related materials up to date.
• Knowledge of commercial enterprise-level tools and products to provide network services, including Web filtering, Open DNS, TACACS+, VPN and Infoblox.
• Required to work hours other than regular schedule such as nights, weekends and holidays when needed.
• Provide periodic and accurate feedback on status of assignments.
• Resolve, or seek resolution to problems, from peers, management, or other Operations personnel.
• Update and maintain all information and documents relevant to assignments in detail.
• Maintain a positive work attitude, a high level of communication and cordial relations that foster teamwork.
• Resolves incidents, service requests and change orders in timely fashion.
• Participate in tier 2 and tier 3 network operations support.
• Maintain 24x7x365 coverage and support for the network.
• Define, plan, and coordinate network projects.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 4 + years’ experience in routing, core switching, Wireless, ASA & Fortinet firewalls, VLAN, VPN, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, Monitoring tools, network topologies and Cisco network components.
• 4 + years’ experience in Citrix NetScaler or similar load balancing technologies
• Strong understanding of network principles and internet architecture
• Understanding of Client / Server and Web Application components
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Detail oriented, open, and collaborative work ethic with a well-developed sense of ownership and responsibility
• Tenacious perseverance in investigating problems and processes.
• Firm believer in established methodologies and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Demonstrated customer service etiquette, active listening, and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple activities to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to work effectively with carriers, management, various departments, and customers.
• 5+ years of IT Experience preferred.

Compensation :

$95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
